I have went to most parts of Malaysia before for shopping, trekking and food, but are there any less known areas in Malaysia that might be worth exploring? Any resorts that are not too man-made and touristy?

Also, I hope to visit a cooler place and escape from the scorching tropical heat which I get in Singapore whole year round, without going all the way to the European or American continents.

I've been to Hong Kong last June, and places like Japan or Korea are too costly for a student for me at this moment.

I'd be going with my boyfriend and it should be a leisure trip (or any suggestions for interesting places for sight-seeing?).

Thanks for the help in advance!

I am vsiting indonesia in july, and am planning to visit Borobudur (the largest buddist temple in the world). Due to the fact that it is near the epicenter of the yogyakarta earthquake, do you think that visiting it now is a good idea? Are the services and facilities still available? would it be unsensitive to visit a tourist site while they are still grieving?

I will be staying in Hong Kong from the 3rd until the 6th of July. Will I still be able to get to Chunking Mansions or Mirrador mansions at that time by bus, or is there somewhere else I can stay for a similar price that will be open at that time of night?

Asian cities generally fared poorly in these rankings, eight of nine of them in the bottom 11, raising the notion that what is considered courtesy in the West — holding doors, helping strangers, service with a smile — is culturally alien in Asia.

this is my opinion http://young-asian.tripod.com ( as malaysian )
how about u?
