I would love to travel with native guides in various countries. My thought would be to provide travel expenses and gratuity to a university student, in exchange for a month of travel, so that I would be able to have an "inside" view and experience of a culture as well as provide travel for the student who might have not yet fully explored their own country. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Earlier, I got a nasty email from someone who said "I knew what she meant" referring to haircuts and makeup for Asians. I did not know what she meant because Asia is the largest and most diverse continent:

My sister and I are planning to go out of the country this summer. Both of us would be first time travellers (in case my Dad would let us). Meaning, we both don't have passports yet. I was wondering if any of you know a very reliable (considered to be the best travel agency in the PHILIPPINES) where we can ask an agent to take care of everything for us? How much do you think will it cost us? The passport and the service from the agency? How long will it take to process this? THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Hello my husband and I are going to Tokyo, Japan in August for business and would like to continue on to Bali and Thailand for a 10-14 days after Tokyo for a vacation. Has anyone done this before? Is it fairly easy to go to both destinations via Japan or should we concentrate on only one? We would like to see as much as possible, as we have never been to Asia and will most likely not be going back for a long time due to the long flights and work. Can anyone suggest an itinerary for us? We would like to go to the beach, as well as see the sights. I’ve heard the east coast of Thailand is drier in Aug....but I hear the west coast is prettier...Bali is in their dry season in August. But a little rain won’t scare us away. We will be flying in and out of Japan to the U.S. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Help!!!! Thanks.

I like korean drama for its romantic and cheerful style while i like filipino dramas because they are heavy, melodrama and i almost cry with every scene (like in bakekang) and the antagonist is so thrilling. What i hate in korean drama is, it is too conservative while in filipino is, the plots became confusing and last for years...
