My sister and I are planning to go out of the country this summer. Both of us would be first time travellers (in case my Dad would let us). Meaning, we both don't have passports yet. I was wondering if any of you know a very reliable (considered to be the best travel agency in the PHILIPPINES) where we can ask an agent to take care of everything for us? How much do you think will it cost us? The passport and the service from the agency? How long will it take to process this? THANKS IN ADVANCE!

I suggest that you do not use a travel agency at all to take care of your new passports. Just go to DFA in Pasay. The personal appearance is always necessary. Better to print-out an application before you go there.
1. Download the form.
2. Three (3) copies 4.5 cm x 3.5 cm new photo (colored with plain white background). Photo should show applicant in decent attire with collar.
3. Attach these to the application.
4. Bring with you the following documents
- Birth Certificate (BC) in Security Paper (SECPA) issued by the National Statistics Office (NSO)
- document indicating fullname, date and place of birth and citizenship (e.g. valid employment's ID or NBI clearance or driver's license)
5. Any of the following supporting documents - Baptismal Certificate or Income Tax Return (ITR) or PRC ID
6. If married, bring Marriage Contract (MC) in Security Paper issued by the National Statistics Office (NSO).
7. Bring P500 for a 32-page passport

If you will still require passport assistance, contact liezl@gawab.com, she gives assistance at an extra cost of P800 per person.

Where will you be travelling? If the country you are travelling to does not require a visa; why use an agency? If it does, I hear there are many agencies promissing the skies and delivering nada. US embassy in Manila was the busiest embassy I have ever seen anywhere in the world. Unless your dad is a senator and owns a tiny island; it may take some time. Good luck!

I purely performed a fifteen-day trip to India as a solo lady senior tourist. I utilized Indian Moments in Jaipur as my holiday agent having searched the information superhighway for obtainable brokers.
