of what to expect on my cruise along the nile/lake nassarI've looked in a few books and it sounds lovely, but not seen too many pics , except for the temples. Is it mostly desert I will pass through, or will i see villages/small towns on the banks? What sort of wildlife can I expect to see? will i see beautiful sunsets? are all the temples on this route worth seeing or are there any ones in particular u would recommend? Any ideas and help would be appreciated. Thanks

I am not talking about a Utopia .I am thinking of a perfect Egyptian city that has all the good qualities of Egyptian life that we love in addition to all the things that we love in Western cities; wide streets, cleanliness. Let's imagine this: You have an unlimited area of land , an endless amount of money and complete freedom to apply whatever system you wish. What things do you want to have ? For example; Places of worship for the three religions ? No places of worship ? And for the infrastructure ; multiple-storey building? or houses and villas ? Should it have a prison? Should the houses by similar or different? Should cars be allowed in this city ?Or just bikes ? Or carts ? As for the system, do u want it to be free of all kinds of descrimination; i.e complete freedom?

Let's brainstorm.

The paradox of our time in history is that
we have taller buildings, but shorter tempers;
wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints;
we spend more, but have less;
we buy more, but enjoy it less.

We have bigger houses and smaller families;
more conveniences, but less time;
we have more degrees, but less sense;
more knowledge, but less judgment;
more experts, but less solutions;
more medicine, but less wellness.

We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values.
We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.
We've learned how to make a living, but not a life;
we've added years to life, not life to years.

We've been all the way to the moon and back,
but have trouble crossing the street to meet the new neighbor.
We've conquered outer space, but not inner space;
we've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul;
we've split the atom, but not our prejudice.

We have higher incomes, but lower morals;
we've become long on quantity, but short on quality.

These are the times of tall men, and short character;
steep profits,and shallow relationships.
These are the times of world peace, but domestic warfare;
more leisure, but less fun;
more kinds of food, but less nutrition.

These are days of two incomes, but more divorce;
of fancier houses, but broken homes.
It is a time when there is much in the show window and
nothing in the stockroom;
a time when technology can bring this letter
to you, and a time when you can choose either to forward this message
and make a difference... or just hit delete.

nothing!
its two halves of a same bean!
and they know that!

they both want to be accepted! may be in different approaches!

but know what?
Being practical: THERE are 2 major differences: education and money!

And 2 emotional factors: mental strength and awareness!

Ok so i wonder, why do many non-Egyptians come here on Egypt section with false stereotypes, God knows where the ... they got them from and still wanna pay a visit to Egypt???

i mean come on, if i hear a terrible thing about another country, i wouldnt think of going there in the first place.

it always go like that "i'm goin to egypt next month, do people in egypt beat the crap of westerns, do u have killers, do u, do , u bla bla blaaaaaaaaaa
and we always go like, of course not, this is wrong, ur welcome here, so is that what they wanna hear as an extra guarantee of safety in Egypt after planning the whole vacation??

For God's sake, i wouldnt go to Israel section, asking them yupeee i wanna pay u a visit but do u hate Muslims, are u gonna hate me....?!!!

asking a question for confirming or correcting the image we have is ok, but already booking a flight then asking will i be killed in ur county, is total nonsense, i dont know

i find excuses, that have to start with the example of LOVE at home!

my question was that: what is this love like for god sake!?

i found funny answers like: "..don't you see couples holding one another hands along the Nile!"

Is there a document stating what each symbol's meaning is?
If so what is it called and where was it found.
