I know what idditu means, it means she gave him. but I don't know what bumba means.

U made me giggle a bit. Ahmed's right, and it is also like I screwed him. Or if u give somebody an appointment and miss it , then u "idditeah bumba", Also, if you promise someone something and don't keep ur promise .But I wouldn't say it is a swear word. It's not a big word. Anybody can say it. But it is not formal. You can't say it in a meeting for example. Literal translation would be "I gave him a bomb".
Notice something , "idditu" is right for both a feminine and a masculine speaker.

When "idditu bumba " is translated literaly it means :"i gave him a bomb " , but it's , in fact , an Egyptian idiom which means :"i left him hanging (waiting)without showing up ! "
it's used when you tell someone that you're going to meet him somewhere at sometime ,but you don't turn up , so you say that idiom .

Everyone here is right (lol).
Its a slang word used when u blew someone off, or dump someone. For example, when a girl dumps a guy, then 'idditou Bomba". pls do as youssef said, i really love it when someone asks about our very weird slang :)

bumba is the bomb!!this means that x has deceived y!!x is saying this to z because he feels his superiority over y because he managed to dump y !!that's pure Egyptian psycho feelings!!which r not available anywhere else!!
