I've just received a pool table and it needs to be re-felted. I'm interested to do this on my own, but I don't know the trick to removing the bumpers so that they, and the slate, can have new felt put on. Is there a way to do this that is standard for most/all pool tables?

I live in lakewood,Ohio. I am sixteen years old and for the past month or so have been playing pool multiple times a day for a few hours each visit. The only problem with that is that going to play pool is becoming quite costly. I have money about,,,4 grand from work and want to buy a table of my own. I dont want to spend much more than 1,500$ the only problem now is not that i cant find a table, but which one to pick. I have been looking in papers and have seen a lot, but i dont have a clue how to pick a good pool table. I am pretty new at the game but already have surpast my friends who have been playing for years, anyways what should i look for in a pool table. I dont have a clue how to judge one table to the next. The table will be in my garage which is attached to my house, but still gets pretty cold in the winter(not much below freezing, at coldest)- my email address is Tournament_Poker_2011@yahoo.com , feel free to leave advice

I've been wanting a Sardo Tight Rack for years as I play between 10-30 games a day. I recently started looking again at what is available and I haven't exactly been able to find out the difference between the M-2000, M-3000 and M-5000 except that the M-2000 is quite a bit more than the newer models. Does anyone out there know the practical differences in using the models and why the older model would be nearly 3 times as much?
Can you explain the difference in the models and the amount of wear, difficulty of use?
Thanks so much!

There have been a lot of questions lately about different brands of cues, as the holdiay season is rapidly approaching. Everyone, including myself, has a particular brand of choice. Without just saying "brand X is the best", tell me specifically "why" you feel this way. Talk about materials, construction, balance points, wraps, inlays, tips, ferrules...whatever. I have my own reasons for playing with a Schuler cue, but I want to know your reasoning. Take your time, think it over. M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.

My friend and I were thinking today, (yes it hurt a little) Why is the white ball the dominate ball? It is the one that hits all the other balls in to the pockets, and why is the black ball last? We thought the man who made the game was racist. Only for the simple reason that the white ball seems to dominate the black ball. the white call hits the black ball in, the whit call hits the strip balls in, the white ball hits the solid color balls in the pockets.... why cant the 8 ball be blue or green? When does it have to be the white ball hitting the other balls around? Why cant this change? I love pool. However, it just came to me that this is a racist’s game. Do U think it is?

I tried to get into Yahoo pool with one of my accounts, and was not allowed to do so. An error message came up that said I've been barred from the room until 2020. Is this some kind of virus or something? If I did something wrong I'd be glad to fix it. Thanks a lot.
