Hunting - October 2006

I have seen so many hunters take young spike bucks and small 2-3 point deer and then wonder why there are not any big bucks where they hunt. The little deer can't grow to be big deer if someone kills them after one year....I will take a doe before I take a young buck...I have the last several years....give the little ones time to get big....

About a year ago, I found an excellent chart comparing the ballistic coefficient and trajectories for the Winchester Supreme and Fail Safe ammunitions.
I should have bookmarked it.
The Winchester site doesn't have a full comparison chart.

Can anyone give me a url that has a comparision chart for the Supreme and Fail Safe ammos? All size bullets.

I'm writing a fiction novel. Can someone please tell me the range of a shotgun (a) to hit a target and knock it with minimal damage, and (b) to hit a target and produce a decent amount of damage?
In each case, over how much area does the shot spread over the target?
