Yeah, here's some good advice, never touch the trigger unless it is to shoot the gun and always pay attention to what you are doing. I almost shot off my right foot today out bird hunting. It was really too close for me not to pay closer attention. I live in N. MN. and saw a nice buck on the way home tonight (with foot intact). But he lives a little too close to the house. I feed deer in the winter, so I do not hunt close to home. Good luck on your hunt. Hope ya bag a nice tender one. Oh, that's right, your going for the rack. I go for the meat and eating a buck that's in rut just doesn't hold appeal to me. Get the hide off asap. It will taste better than if you leave it on like a lot of people do. Can't wait for that first bite of tenderloin. Mmmm......
