River, why would anyone hunt pregnant does? Do you actually know of someone who does this for the fetus? Why? Please enlighten us.

The only "hunter" I know of that does this is the coyote. When coyotes kill or find a dead doe with a fetus in it, that will be the first thing that is eaten. I know of no human hunter who will do this for the fetus. That would be just plain WRONG.

Hunting season is not on while the doe is in the later stages of pregnancy, so anyone doing this would be a poacher.

Being a 'hunter' brings with it a measure of responsability towards conservation of nature and biodiversity, respect towards the species being hunted, and ethics. Wasting meat is offensive and penalizable in itself.

Why would anyone do this in the first place? If they did they are certainly not a hunter, but just an animal killer.

I don't see why anyone would do that. Is deer fetus good eatin'? In any case, I think it's wrong.

I don't think that is legal, and besides that, it's just plain wrong.
