The horse in question is a jumper, and has had this injury for about 2 weeks. A vet has seen him, but it was unclear as to whether the horse was allowed out of the stall for some handwalking, or if he was strictly confined to the stall.

My boyfriends family are due to move to the UK from Iran next week and are all devout Muslims. His parents, sisters and brothers will be staying in our 2 bedroom semi initially while they sort out their benefits. I need to try to keep them occupied while my boyfriend is at work and I think horse riding could be the answer. I have been told that horses are almost none existent in Iran and this would be a great culture shock for them to ride a great British horse. However, the females of the family insist on wearing a full burkha. Would this cause problems while horse riding? The family do not speak much English so this may cause a problem but I have tried to draw some picture cards in preparation for their arrival - does anyone have a suggestion which picture I could use to comminicate the idea of mounting a horse? Any ideas?

i'm starting to jump in my horsebakc riding class. does anyone have suggestions????? Because i alomost fell off when i jumped the first time.
And my horse over jumps really high (instead of jumping a foot she jumps 3 feet)

i read an article the other dat saying people are starting to think canter isnt a natural gait. i think it is. but they say its a gallop but slowed down by the rider. please give your opinions!

well ive been doing alot of research on horses and guess what? rodeos are cruel. yup . spures hurt and horse and bulls skin is quite sensitive. also the use of buck straps are used tied around the animals flank area and then tied tightly once out of the gate. and when ou think about it calfs are baby underdeveloped animals being slamed to the grownd ans chocked. there under 6 weeks old. please help animals and stop going to rodeos visit www.sharkonline.org
