After a brief look at a map, it looks about equidistant between Birmingham and Luton airports.
Note that Luton is apparently called "London Luton", something of a misnomer.

Reference 'Chelex': is there really a Silverstone racing track in the US?!!!
Assuming you are referring to the one in England I think Luton is the nearest but Birmingham is quite practical too.

Silverstone itself is covered by air traffic control, if you have a light aircraft you could land there. Other than that, I think Silverstone is in the sticks as far as airports go so Birmingham is unfortunately the closest commercial airport.

Nearest major city: Downtown Philadelphia, PA (11 miles)
Nearest major airport: Philadelphia, PA (PHL) 19 miles
Directions from airport:
Take Rt 76/Schuylkill Expressway West to exit 342A (Lincoln Drive). Follow Lincoln Drive for 3,7 miles to Emlen Street (Emlen Street becomes Cresheim Valley). Drive Emlen Street/Cresheim Valley for 1,9 miles to the end and turn left onto Stenton Avenue. You will be driving exactly 1,1 miles to Silverstone B&B located on the left side of Stenton Avenue (pass 4 lights). If you get to the intersection of Stenton Avenue with Bethlehem Pike or Paper Mill Roadyou are too far.
