Almost all western wear stores carry them. If they don't have any in stock or don't have the size you need they can usually order one for you.

Probably in Texas. However, after the movie Brokeback Mountain people will always have that stigma when ever they see a person wearing a cowboy hat. If you are not gay, I would wait about 20 years and let the stigma wear off.
