do you think that harry neal and his comments have a lot to do with the downfall of the leafs?

for examples harry neal will make some comment like "oh raycroft makes another save! hes unstoppable tonight"
only for to get scored on two seconds later..

there are plenty of examples.. and if you pay enough attention i'm sure you'll notice them too..

can we ban together and tell harry to shut the hell up?

In baseball, the Boston Red Sox paid over $50 million dollars just to negotiate with Daisuke Matsuzaka. The congeniality between Japan, one of baseball's top nations, and the MLB is amazing and allows for the continued smooth transition of Japanese players to the US (if they want).

However, in the NHL, the Penguins just "stole" Malkin from Russia and are only offering $200,000. Do you think that relations between the NHL and one of hockey's finest countries need to improve to somewhere like the relations between MLB and Japan? Do you think it was fair of the Penguins to take Malkin from Russia?

I like Malkin, and I'm glad he's here so I can watch him all the time. He's an amazing player. But I think his old team has suffered a blow that should be worth a lot more than $200,000. Now, relations between the NHL and Russia will be tense, and it will be more difficult for great players to transition to the NHL.

Here's my team. I'm last in my 9 teams league (Rotisserie). I don't know what I'm doing wrong! I've made changes, I even added a goon (barnaby) but I'm last in many of the 8 categories.

I just moved from CA to MA last year, and am hoping to see some pond hockey action this winter.

Who's already started playing pond hockey this winter... anyone? I've never played on anything but rinks. Is it as fun as I think it will be?

Anything in particular I should know? Any significant differences (I mean, besides the lack of boards, lines, odd size and shape of the surface and acorn and leaf hazards...)?

Any pond hockey etiquette I should observe? (I know, I know. Bring enough beer to share.)

What's the best way to find and get in on pond hockey games?

I have watched alot of hockey and I have never seen it happen.

But can you do this in the nhl? when a penalty shot is called, can you choose between taking the shot or having a 2 mintue powerplay. thanks if anybody knows.
