Here's my team. I'm last in my 9 teams league (Rotisserie). I don't know what I'm doing wrong! I've made changes, I even added a goon (barnaby) but I'm last in many of the 8 categories.

Any advice? Please stick to constructive comments. I already know my team sucks! Thanks in advance.

your team doesnt look that bad, just guys that havent produced consistently this year. you need to play datsyuk though, hes your best players.

barnaby has only played in about half the games this year.

yashin is terrible

your D isnt bad, but in fantasy hockey D doesnt really matter, so looks like you drafted your D too early. look for one of the wingers playing with sidney crosby or joe thorton. both have been sifting through wingers this year trying to find someone who can produce for them.

also look for players like ray whitney, martin straka, and michael nylander. these are guys who are having decent stats so far and may be availible in your league

I agree with the comments about D, you need to upgrade there. As for Yashin, I know a lot of people dislike him, but he's producing really well on a good offensive team; he's the last person you should drop. I think what you should do is check the waiver wire and pick people who are putting up good numbers in categories where you need help. Another thing that you might do is pick up a couple of back-up goaltenders on strong teams. Even if they only play a couple of times a month, the #2 goaltenders on teams like Detroit and Dallas generally win the games they do play.

Maybe one reason is because you have Yashin on your team. He may have a strong start, but trust me he's going to start slowing down by mid-season. Drury's okay, but only because he's playing for Buffalo. Datsyuk isn't as good as they expected him to be, but he's okay. It's not easy filling Stevie Y's shoes. Koivu's a good player, can get you a decent amont of points. Get any of the following: Sidney Crosby, Daniel Briere, Eric Staal, Joe Thornton, Evgeni Malkin.

Your wingers look okay. Heatley had a slow start but he's already speeding things up again. Hejduk is doing fine so far. Semin should be good if he continues to get time with Ovechkin. Drop Fedotenko. He's not going to give you much points. I have no idea why you would get Barnaby. It's true that he gets a lot of PIM, but someone with scoring talent would do you much better than a goon. Consider Jagr, Shanahan, Ovechkin, Hossa, Kovalchuk. Thomas Vanek of Buffalo is having a great season so far. Also Ray Whitney of Carolina.

Kaberle is amazing. He's top 3 in scoring and ice time among D-men. He should get plenty of time on the PP with McCabe. Whitney's a great young player too. He gets plenty of time, about 25 minutes per game.O'Donnell won't be getting much time with Pronger and Neidermayer in front of him on Anaheim's blueline. Jovanovski's doing good, considering he's the only guy in Phoenix. He gets over 5 minutes of PP and 3 minutes on PK. Boyle gets lots of time as well, but doesn't produce much. Matt Carle of SJ was pretty good a while ago, but he's on a 6 game pointless streak. Keep an eye on him and get him when he breaks out of his slump.

You've got two of the best goalies in the league, so don't worry about them.

I would say that the place you need to try and upgrade is your Goalies and your Defensemen, you'd be surprised how much the D's on your team can make a difference if you draft good ones. Next year, start out my drafting in the best D's you can think of, there will always be good LW, RW, and Centers, but there are only a handfull of good D's... if you get them, other teams will be so hurt by that, and their Wings will be unable to hang with you.. Thats how I drafted this year and my team is in first place in a 16 team league..its on CBS Sportsline..

one million. Leighton would be eased decrease back in whilst he returns, so Bob nevertheless has fee in the close to destiny. besides the undeniable fact that, I assume Leighton to cut up time, no less than, with Bob, probably prevailing the job decrease back. i could recommend to commerce Bob mutually as he nevertheless has fee in case you could. 2. Pavelec is extremely worth a pickup, surprisingly if Brent Johnson is your third goalie. He grew to become right into a delusion fluke (super backup in actual life) and it extremely is obvious Fleury gets the vast majority of the starts off. He could desire to have been dumped an prolonged time in the past. Pavelec has published super numbers. i does not evaluate Elliott; he's a few distance to streaky to place self belief in. Mason is a competent selection for wins using fact the Blue Jackets look a plenty stronger group. I additionally own Kipper: he continually gets off to undesirable starts off, however the Calgary subject concerns me. His win totals will take useful, yet nevertheless will positioned up stable stats.

Focus on specific stat categories, and figure out what categories are attainable. For instance, if you're hanging tight in +/-, make a trade for guys with a good +/-. Focus on things like SOG, and not GWG or SHP. Those are too shifty. You have good goaltending, try and win those categories.

Hope this helps.
