How long and how much? I know, unfortunately, it's near the 11 million... but for how long? Or dare I ask!

The contract is for 3 years at $3.7m per year, for a total just over the $11m mark. If you want to see a good breakdown by year for any player/team, I'd recommend this site:

Just click on the team, and it will give you a list of players with a nice table that shows salaries broken down by year.

Let's just say too much. He's overpaid and underperforming. Emery should BE the #1 goalie and he's worth every penny he's getting which is less than a million bucks a year.

Yes 3 yrs at 3.something per year.
Gerber's agent must have gotten Muckler drunk that day to have him make that deal!
