Walter will stabilise and improve the team but I fear we are returning to the days of being great in Scotland but crap in Europe. Kenny McDowall is a major coup though.

Are they the first set of Siamese twins ever to play professional football? Are they joined at the hip?
It seems to be that wherever one player wants to go the other follows. Are thet too stupid to think for themselves or are they being manipulated by their agent into getting the best deal for HIM, not THEM?

The answer might have something to do with the fact that he looked like one.

i think he has done the worst move in his career....he spent time pulling scotland out of the football wilderness and now hes going to manage a team of no hopers what are your views

Walter Smith has offically quit Scotland to manage Rangers. Frankly, I am glad. He was over hyped as a manager when in charge of the national team. In the Euro qualifiying stages we beat the two lower seeded teams then played 10 men behind the ball against France and Ukraine. France we got lucky, very lucky, and Ukraine found us out pretty quickly.

I think WS knew this and didn't want to hang around for the tough games coming up. I think he will be a flop at Rangers and be booted out by the end of next season.

Well, that is my mini rant. What are you views?

Where the feck were you last Saturday? Only 18000 bother to turn up at Celtic Park for the Dumbarton game.
Could some of you Celtic supporters out there please explain to me why you persist in this rediculous claim?

Everyone knows the sfa have no spine... smith's asked to be relived of his duties and we can't afford a manager who'd rather be elsewhere. Who do you think would do a good job?

Personally I say let him go. He has already shown that his loyalties are back with rangers. God knows who we would get to replace him though.

The SFA won't let Walter Smith leave the Scotland job, so I think that idea of him going to Rangers is over.

Who would the rangers fans out there pick, now that Smith and McCoist are not available.
