i think he has done the worst move in his career....he spent time pulling scotland out of the football wilderness and now hes going to manage a team of no hopers what are your views

I totally and completely agree! Also, going back never works, Jock Wallace, Billy McNeil for instance, and he was rubbish in Europe before, can't see much difference.
However, dead excited about you being back, me and Dicko were getting a bit outnumbered amongst the staunch and bitters!!!! x x x x x x x x

And why not? Walter holds a special place in the hearts of Rangers fans and if anyone is going to walk into Ibrox and wins those fans it's Walter. He and Ally McCoist went through the glory years, and yes it would be stupid to think that it would all come back that easily and yes it's a shame that Scotland, as a national team will lose out on this influence, but let's face it - football at club level is more relevant to most fans than their national team who get together once in a month to train. Walter has never had the kind of success or, I suspect, enjoyment in managing a team since he left Ibrox and I for one am glad to see him and Ally back doing what they love doing - being Rangers!

Scotland will recover from losing the dream team ,also i think Walter and ally could steer the Huns through the intertoto and keep up the coefficient .so no losers eh.

He is a man of no honour and Rangers are the Chelsea of Scotland (ie crooked). I hope Scotland get a good coach and that Rangers get relegated. I wonder how many thumbs-down I'll get for believing in principle?

You can never go back, I think it is a wrong move. As much as I adored Martin O'Neil as manager, i would not wish him back. His time has been and gone.His memory will live long in the hearts.
