I support a 'provincial' club and I rejoice when Rangers or Celtic get gubbed in domestic competition (as in the CIS cup with Falkirk and St Johnstone) or in the Scottish Cup with Dunfermline!! But I staunchly support both of the Old Firm in Europe. Rangers were fantastic against Lvorno and Celtic vs MUFC!! So yes it's OK, but I have no time for the sectarian baggage that goes along with the Old Firm. The rights and wrongs of catholics and protestants in Ireland belong to history and politics, not football

Absolutely not. I myself am a Celtic fan and would like nothing more than any time that bonny bunch of lads from Govan step on the pitch they get hammered by anyone, even the Church of Scotland 1st 11.
However I am trying to educate my 6 y.o son (Celtic fan surprisingly) that you can support any team and look for their results and not worry about any repurcussions, as this is the only way you will get rid of old farts like me.

Why do you need a braveheart. If your man you should be a man of substance. Not unless of course you are sitting on the fence and do not know which way to jump over this one. Never mind even braveheart got it wrong or rather Mel Gibson did.

the ethos is wrong but as has been stated free world who do you follow during an old firm will determine your true devotion. if i ever find myself having a soft spot for liverpool i have another couple of guinness and i see the error of my ways ? did you expect more slagging of me thinks yes but you will have to try a lot harder than that to get the regulars to bite.

hello everyone been on a bit of a bender.

No, there's nothing wrong with it. But I have just never heard of anybody that has supported both. It must be great. You'd win the league and cups every year wouldn't you?
