When someone posted the question a couple of weeks ago "Who do you think will be the new Rangers manager?", back then I said "well as an educated guess, Walter Smith with Ally McCoist as his assistant"
Obv. I was right, but as Bhoy, I really DID think that Walter & Ally had at long last turned oor wee National team around, and yes I DO think that Smithy has taken a backward step this time.
As for "super Ally" Lol, I can see where he is coming from. He's after the big boss job at Ibrox.. and he's likely to get it in a couple of years.
No BBC work going now Ally. Eh?
Hail Hail.

What do you mean a high profile manager Walter Smiths record in Scottish football is second to none how could that possibly be a backward step.
As for the season being over there are two old firm games left 6 points up for grabs and the best bit celtic are not playing good at the moment a hearts win then the 6 points and we are back to 8 points remember 5points ahead with 5 games to play and funny enough the bookies paid out early there as well.

They had a high profile manager in PLG. As much as we sellick fans derided him, he was the man to turn Ibrox around. But the huns in the Scottish press conspired to get rid of this interfering Frenchman who wanted to bring alien, succesful, ideas to Ibrox. The backwards attitude was summed up in the `Ferguson` affair. You have a coach who was won 3 league titles in France and is being undermined by an illiterate Scottish fud. Who do the press support? Well it really sums up Scotland in a nutshell. We would rather go to hell as long as a Scotsman is running the show than win on a bigger stage. The thing I don`t understand is that Murray bottled dealing with Ferguson when strong leadership was required. A bad day for Rangers. Even worse, no foreign manager or player is going to sign for Rangers in the near future. Never mind the tims, it appears all foreigners are hated at Ibrox as well.

I can see how the Rangers supporters would love to see WS back, he has been one of their most successful managers. Whether he can repeat his success over a period of time is debatable. As a Celtic fan I have no fear that WGS will see him off just like he did with the others.

maximum would not care countless the time yet i have considered rangers followers turn on their fellow followers because they were catholic..such issues as this can often purely take position at the same time as rangers drop factors and/or lose to celtic any italian or spaniard who idea this way might want to ought to slightly stupid as its somewhat obvious to maximum that rangers are literally not an recommendations-blowing crew...although they are sensible at anti football if it is the range of play you want...as for the stadium..the position is falling aside..it changed into fortunate for celtic the tournament on sunday changed into allowed to be performed...basically because they have massive dressing rooms for referees would not make it a good stadium..the certain dressing rooms do not carry the same cost at the same time as mr murray forgets to go away the brown envelope

Anything is better than what we had , I cant help feeling
a little confident with Walter and Ally , and I'm sure they
will do some clearing out for next season , we can only
get better.

i think walter smith is a great manager and has a proven track record with rangers ,i also think he is there to train up ally mccoist who will take over from him in 3 years, although i dont expect instant success i think in the long run rangers will benefit from the partnership

They don't need a high profile manager, they need a bloody good manager, and Wattie is NOT the solution. Billy Davies or Gus McPherson would have been a much better choice, 2 managers who have worked with nothing but still achieved results!!!
