...the ticket prices. $42.50 was the CHEAPEST available seat. I've never paid to watch a soccer game before but I thought that that was OUTRAGEOUS and as a result I'm not going to go. I actually prefer rugby but I'm on the verge of being a soccer football fan as well but this has tipped my scales in the other direction.

In your opinion is that a reasonable price to pay?

In my opinion: Portugal, Australia and Tunisia!

Portugal was knocked out by a penalty which wasn't supposed to be given (dive)

Australia was also knocked out by a penalty which wasn't supposed to be give (dive)

Tunisa should have been given a penalty (becuz an Ukranian player blocked the free-kick with his hand INTENTIONALLY) and that penalty would have seen them go through! Plus Ukraine was given a penalty which was not supposed to be given...

haha, the USA thought they would dominate the match in the beginning with a penalty kick but soon after 3 mins Hernan Crespo was able equalize, scoring again in the 2nd half, Tevez and AIMAR scored the other 2 goals!! it was an amazing match and very nice...i'm sure Argentina had at least 70% ball possession with all that moving around...i'm not here to make problems i just like Argentina and i'm happy for their win

Common opinion says Brazil in 1970 were the best, but I am inclined to disagree. Attacking wise, yes they were matchless but their defence was hopeless!

I think the most convincing ALL-ROUND World Champions were Germany in 1990. They could grind out wins, and were sometimes very flamboyant in what was quite a negative tournament. They also had an impressive run to victory, getting past Yugoslavia, Holland, Czechslovakia, England and Argentina to win.
