FIFA World Cup (TM) - June 2006

Reasons why soccer/football (if you call it football you should be executed) sucks:

(1) The final score is 1-0. oh the DRAMA!
(2) The only modern game capable of ending in a freakin DRAW.
(3) It is European, which inherently makes it horrible. Just like Formula One is horrible in comparison to NASCAR
(a) windy tracks? WTF?
(b) if you win the POLE you win the RACE! The DRAMA

In conclusion, European sports including the world cup sucks.

why are they so many people who are not from england think that they can win the world cup? i mean.if you are english, its a different story because its your country after all..
but the rest of the world?? i dont see how they are alot better than holland and no one seem to think holland can win it..
do you think maybe its because the english premier league is the most popular league in the world and therefore we are not very very familiar with the great players from the rest of the world who are not playing in the epl? after all, we know all abt the english players as all except 2 or 3 english players plays in the epl.

The first 2 games was a disgrace, admitidley we got through, Sven had nothing to lose by trying Theo, as opposed to Peter Crouch the clown, he could have tried some of the others to give them experience and confidence, but in my eyes the big mistake was he stuck with Crouch, Sven in my eyes is the worst manager ever seen, he doesnt know his players, do you feel it will be better for England once he go's,?
