Why would anyone care about the World Cup?

Reasons why soccer/football (if you call it football you should be executed) sucks:

(1) The final score is 1-0. oh the DRAMA!
(2) The only modern game capable of ending in a freakin DRAW.
(3) It is European, which inherently makes it horrible. Just like Formula One is horrible in comparison to NASCAR
(a) windy tracks? WTF?
(b) if you win the POLE you win the RACE! The DRAMA

In conclusion, European sports including the world cup sucks.

I agree that it's not exciting to watch a soccer match but I played soccer in Junior and Senior high school (along with baseball and football) and I liked playing soccer the most. Most action for players who must be in great condition (not just hulking brutes). American football is the best spectator sport, period.

1: It isn't called the beautiful game for nothing, soccer is a tactical battle much more like chess on the pitch than any other sporting event.
2: Amercan Football can end in a draw moron, as can hockey, and apparently the MLB all-star game a few years back as well.
3. Soccer may be thought of as European but it is dominated by a country called brazil who have made the game what it is, the most beautiful game in the sporting spectrum. Tactics, fitness, finesse, power, strength, speed, and a mere two shinguards to protect you. How often do you hear of pppl in football breaking legs, tearing acls, so on so forth that happens day in day out.

In conclusion The world Cup is not European thus the world in front of the cup. I believe there is probabyly a reason why FOOTBALL is the most beloved game across the globe. Yes, it is Football, it was coined football long before a pigskin was being thrown. What a misnomer, American football hmm you use your feet for punts, field goals, and kickoffs. Versus the true football which actually involves some talented footwork, footspeed, agility, coordination, vision, and a brain. SO sit the **** down and shut the **** up you ignorant red neck.

(1)Does the final score of the match matter.Is 1-0 anymore boring than watching a basketball game with a 119-113 scoreline?.Doesn't the constant scoring get a little bit repetetive?. (2)It's not the only modern game capable of ending in a draw.Is it an American mentality that no matter what,there must be a winner and a loser.Even boxing has draws. (3)NASCAR.Isn't that just a car repetetively going round an oval track. (a)I guess they have wind in Europe. low scores and draws aren't everything. If a game ends in 0-0, fans will often discuss the tactics used and the near misses. This is something most Americans have a hard time comprehending. All they want is results, results, results, and are obsessed with having a winner and loser.
