No most of the referees have not been fair or honest ....Yes there was mistakes but a lot of fouls that were blatant were not called because the referees turned a blind eye or calling fouls when there wasn´t any ...In any international games, politics play a big part of it ,,, NO such thing as FAIR PLAY........

Refrees are also human being we can not expect too much but they are doing well.

You did not understand, American team was not complaining they were asking to replace referee with their President to win the game. But President was busy in other games.

Note* No hard feelings just a joke fox.

Overall, I would say referees have done a good job. The only two I have found fault with are Poll (England - Croatia vs. Australia game) and Kamikawa (Japan - England vs. Trinidad game).

Not really, it is clear that small footballing nations, such as Australia, Ghana, T&T, Ivory Coast, etc, get harsher treatment while powers such as Brazil, Italy, England, etc, seem to get the VIP treatment.

I guess you can't blame the refs- its much easier to book some no-name rather than a star who is idolised globally.

They are always unfair. they send the Ivory Coast home altough they were the better team against Netherlands. BUt that's just so predictable. it would be so great if sports was fair! let the better win :)

NFL, Not F****** Likely. Many of the refs should be fined in this cup for abysmal performance.

I think they have been fair - they are human and make mistakes, simple as that. Do really think that Poll wanted to make a complete tit out of himself or that he was cheating - I doubt it he has his reputation (now in tatters) to think of.
