I listen to the John Riggens show in the DC are. A month or so ago they made a comment on how DC is a Redskins town. No argument there. A fan calls and mentions that DC United is over looked and that the leage is only a decade old and DC has been the champions for almost half of those yrs. Why would some one in the show (i cant remember is name) say that soccer and DC United are not even popular enough for any tv station to air or any one to wach?
At the pace DC United is going they have more Championships than the Redskins, Wizards or Bullets, Capitals, Nationals or Senators and Maryland Basket ball or football and any other local team.
The leage is young and so far the national soccer team since the existance of the leage has gain respect around the world and now dominates North America. Some one Please explain this injustice. Or can it be that foot ball player when they are washed up all the hard hitting in football affects their way of thinking?

everyone talks about the big four in England..Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea...Chelsea in my eyes have never been a big club...the likes of Newcastle Spurs and Everton are bigger and better followed than them....Chelsea struggle to fill there ground...

With the 20 teams all in competition and three teams being relegated, is it mathematically possible to know what number of points is necessary to finish 17th and avoid relegation. Or is it impossible to know because the number would depend on the number of ties or wins during a particular season, and one wouldn't know how many of those would happen during a particular season. Nevertheless, the question askes if there is a minimum number of points that would ensure an avoidance of relegation.

All their players keep using their mobile phones while driving to the ground, cause someone told them they would get 3 points if they did.

The Americans who play in the EPL get alot of hype here in the states, and i wondered how they really measure up against the europeans in the league. The Americans I know of in the EPL are Hahnemann, Freidel, Demerit, Beasley, Onyewu, Convey, Reyna (is he still with man city?), Dempsey, and McBride. The only one of those ive ever seen do anything impressive are hahnemann, freidel, and Mcbride...tell me what you think.
