i'm a manc red matey, i'm gonna guess your dad has not been to a match for a long time, you can't just turn up and "pay at the gate", OT is not like a majority of the clubs in the prem that has empty seats. they sell out pretty much every single match. unless you know someone who has a couple of season tickets who are gonna let you borrow them to watch one of the bottom teams in the prem then you only have 2 real options..
1st, buy 2 memberships, one of these memberships must be yours!, i'll explain why.... as a child your entitled to use the family stand (the one underneath the stretford end -next to the tunnel where they come out) i have 4 tickets there, i apply everytime i get the e-mail telling me to apply (all this is in your intro pack when you join), the more you apply the more you get, they say it's a lottery but sure arthur chubb or one of his mates spots the usual names and says "he can have one"..
option 2.... (prob the easiest at short notice)
if your a northern lad then try going to away matches...THIS IDEA WILL MEAN YOU HAVE TO SIT WITH AWAY FANS THO!!
your not gonna get a city ticket, however, wigan, bolton, blackburn there all local and rarely sell out, even against us!!
good luck matey... and if all else fails try heading towards droylsden on a saturday afternoon, FC united play there... thats the team that was formed when glazier bought united, if you want the atmosphere and the songs then head there!! cheap and a bloody good bunch of lads!! print this off and give it ya dad... laterz

You can ask your mom to give you the money for the ticket and you can go and see the game with your friends and their dads.
Then you can wave at your dad from the tv screen. Ask your mom to make sure your dad drinks his beer out of a glass or a glass bottle that day, not out of a can. When he sees you on the telly, he'll get angry and throw his beer into the telly.
The screen will break and you won't have the TV anymore. Therefore, if your father will want to watch footie he'll have to go and see the game live. :-) Then you can go and see the game with him.

Nice to see that your parents have a good relationship together. If I was your mother I would force your father to take you. I'd follow you both to the stadium and watch him buy the tickets for you to watch the game so he won't have a way out.

Your dad is a sensible man! No only does he support Man Utd but he had the sense to throw an empty beer can at you.
