they finish out of the top four again. every year they spend more then arsenal do and every year they finish behind them this year even more points then last year after all the money Jol spent last year and again this season when is he going to be put under the same pressure as the other clubs to win some silverware there always seems to be excuses for them i think aston villa will finish above them this year and some of the other teams like newcastle will be stronger will Jol get the sack then.
ps. chelsea for relegation after abramovich has been found out using dodgy money

I personally think / know we'll survive if he goes, which I don't believe will happen. No you couldn't replace him because he's argueably the best in the world, but don't you think we'd get another top twenty plus goal scorer possibly as part of a swap? Despite what is said we're not a one man team and his form suffered terrible when Pires left who had a brilliant understanding with him along with Cole.he's been absent for a large chunk of it and we still finished fourth without his twenty / thirty goals that are normally scored. As long as we're injury free next season, as last season was the mother of them all. RVP scored one less than Berbatov and he's been absent since January. When we were unbeaten it was a team effort and not just Henry, and I remember Ljunberg and Pires being responsible for a lot of our goals in the last double year. Yes Henry is exceptional but Man u and Chelsea haven't got him and they've survived okay, why won't we? I think we will!

he has no intention of staying with us so why dont we get rid without dragging it out vierra style, same goes for wenger and fab....no one is bigger than the club, a swap for henry with eto and a few quid .lets face it his form and effort levels have been sparadic for 3 years now.

When Beckham was captain, he got heavily criticised--warranted or not--for not being a good player. Now that he's stepped down and recalled to the squad, he's suddenly performed better than everyone else expected. Many say he's given a sense of stability and leadership now that he's back.

Was Beckham just going through a rough patch and retired too early, or is it better for the squad to have John Terry as captain, and Becks as just another talent in the squad?

I love Becks dearly with his past performances, but I honestly think it's getting too overhyped now, to the point that other players just as able are overshadowed, e.g. Steven Gerrard, John Terry.

Former England defender and eurosport.yahoo.com resident expert Paul Parker says he’s becoming disillusioned with the huge sums of money involved in football. He believes the game is under threat as a result.

See http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/08062007/58/premiership-parker-money-ruining-game.html

But, there are benefits to money - investment has provided vastly improved stadiums across England, for example, and higher wages have attracted a large number of genuinely world class players to the Premier League.

So, is he right? Is money ruining football?
