I personally think / know we'll survive if he goes, which I don't believe will happen. No you couldn't replace him because he's argueably the best in the world, but don't you think we'd get another top twenty plus goal scorer possibly as part of a swap? Despite what is said we're not a one man team and his form suffered terrible when Pires left who had a brilliant understanding with him along with Cole.he's been absent for a large chunk of it and we still finished fourth without his twenty / thirty goals that are normally scored. As long as we're injury free next season, as last season was the mother of them all. RVP scored one less than Berbatov and he's been absent since January. When we were unbeaten it was a team effort and not just Henry, and I remember Ljunberg and Pires being responsible for a lot of our goals in the last double year. Yes Henry is exceptional but Man u and Chelsea haven't got him and they've survived okay, why won't we? I think we will!

It wont be the end of the world. We can survive without him just as we did last season. We did so poorly because of other key injuries. Our last 2 seasons have been injury plagued and we've been doing pretty well I should say given our situations, even tho many Man Utd and other fans totally ignore that fact and just go straight to the bashing (some aren't as blind). If they had similar injury problems to us who knows where they would have been.

But losing Henry will is such a big deal because of his role at the club as leader and a huge huge inspiration to the rest of the youth. Think about it, after Henry and Gilberto, who's next in line for taking the captaincy? Possibly Toure.. but if hes out then who next?

It won't be the end of the world because Wenger is a good shrewd manager.

Arsene is one of the last of a dying breed. He has the ability to construct a world beating football team without just throwing money at it like Ferguson and Mourinho.

I hoped Rafa would go along the same lines, but the takeover at Liverpool suggests otherwise.

In the days of Shankly, Paisley, Fagan and Dalglish football was a sport. Now it's a business. Bad for the game IMHO.

I am a die hard Arsenal supporter, and I started supporting Arsenal because of Henry. I like him more than any other player.Everyone knows that nobody can do what Henry does day in and day out....he will not leave this year...but if he does it will not hurt the club at all. This is just a recent example...but look at Milan....Sheva (who was the equivalent of Henry for Milan) left Milan last year. Milan were fairing so bad that Kaka Kaladze was begging Sheva to come back, despite knowing it was impossible. But Milan went on to win the CL.....smallers club die when their talismans leave....but not the big clubs.

I've got nothing but the greatest respect for the geeza. When we first got promoted to the Premier league and Arsenal came down to Fratton Park, 20 000 Portsmouth fans sung "Theres Only One Therry Henry", and he wore a Pompey shirt given to him by one of the Pompey fans.

I hope he stays at Arsenal but if he quits and splits then I wish the bloke well!!.

Arsenal won't roll over and die. They'll struggle. Just like the time when they sold Patrick Viera. But this time, they'll struggle more cause they stand to lose someone who is both a leader and a match winner that can give them 20 goals a season.
You can replace a striker but you won't easily find another striker with a character like his.

Best player to ever grace British football a huge shame for English fans if he left.

I dont know how united fans and the media can even compare Cristiano Ronaldo to Henry.

It isn't the end of the world. Henry has done a lot for the Gunners but football players move on. Be it for money or a new experience. It is time to let go of him and admire what he has done. of course it isn't the end of the world.

It won't be the end of Arsenal if Henry leaves. They have Van Persie who is an incredible striker, who has more potential to fulfil.
