they finish out of the top four again. every year they spend more then arsenal do and every year they finish behind them this year even more points then last year after all the money Jol spent last year and again this season when is he going to be put under the same pressure as the other clubs to win some silverware there always seems to be excuses for them i think aston villa will finish above them this year and some of the other teams like newcastle will be stronger will Jol get the sack then.
ps. chelsea for relegation after abramovich has been found out using dodgy money

Barry K. your reply is one of the reasons that other clubs want arsenal to always finish above you because you can't have a proper argument and your fans are always moaning

Tottenham are a waste of space, I don't see why this question had to be asked. They're not a top 4 team and are really expecting a little too much of themselves. They'll have to buy top players to compete with the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea and the players will have to be better than the s**t players they bought last year. Huddlestone, Zakora, Chimbonda etc. But, I don't see how Martin Jol can attract these type of players to Tottenham as they're not a good club and haven't won a trophy in years.

Blame the manager as ususal. The fact that the board don`t invest properly in the team and that they have a squad of serial under achievers is neither here nor there. I would take Jol to Highbury if Wenger leaves.

i'll admit for the last 15 years we've been a mid table team when we were as big as arsenal and chelsea and newcastle and everton before. it takes a long time to challenge the top four from that. but no one else is as close to doing it as we are. we've had to invest moe than arsenal because we had a rubbish youth team and no decent footballers and we needed to catch up. but we have spent reasonably well and haven't payed over the odds like clubs like newcastle and kept our wage bill much lower than the top four and for all our spending we're making big profits. over the last three years our youth set up is great, MJ is turning players like lennon, dawson into england internationals we're playing some of the best football in england and we're only a couple of players away from being able to compete with the anyone. last year we did loose a little ground on arsenal but it was down to conceeding too many goals, down to losing carrick and having king injured. we've learn't from that we were not as strong as we thought. we won't be selling any big names again and we will sure up the defence with bale and another CB. we're trying to compete with the top four in the transfer market and there is nothing to be ashamed of in finishing 5th for two seasons at the moment.

what ever. spurs are gonna finish in the top 4 this season. and villa will only finish below them. you say all we do is spend more money than scummy arsenal and were Never as good as them but all arsenal fans will blame their lousy season just gone on the fact that Henry was injured. i agree with Barry k we do need a bigger pitch and hopefully all the plans go ahead....
oh and by the way Jol ain't going anywhere

Too many games, for Spurs, European qualification should end after 5 matches, with no contests against the big 4.

We don't need excuses, we have progressed year on year under Martin Jol and i expect we will do the same next season. Worry about your own team and let us worry about ours......

Who cares, Arsenal have been under par for the last 3 seasons and spurs still can't finish above us.

Nothings definite. great team but we need a stadium that can hold 50,000. All we need to do is turn the pitch 45 degrees and develop around it. The revenue then generated by this will consolidate our on pitch investment.
At least we're guaranteed to finish above Quite Poor Really FC

They'll probably blame it on 2 the wrong type of rain" or "we'll still rebuilding ... watch us next year". same ol' same ol'.
clammy hands... that's a good reply that you wrote, with one exception, you said your've got a good youth set up, then you named Lennon and Dawson, who didn't come through your youth set up, in fact I can't think of any in the last few years that have come through.

As usual they will complain they were unlucky. They simply can't grasp the fact they're not a big club any longer.
