I beg to differ. Chelsea's campaign has been marred by the Abramovich-Mourinho row. The fact that Chelsea are off the pace has mainly to do with the fact that Jose was not given any money to spend on shoring up his defense in January. Also Man U have been lucky with injuries for the most part of the season, only in the last 3 weeks have the injuries mounted. Lastly, there is an aura about Man Utd this season that makes teams afraid to play even a weakened Man U team this season. Everton threw the game away yesterday - the first three goals were all their fault. If they were not so "afraid" of playing Man Utd and took the game to them even when leading 2-0, Man U wouldhave drawn or lost far more games. So it is not necessarily the case that they deserve it.

They won the most games and were the most consistent team over 38 matches, not to mention extra fixtures and games that took a toll. Of course they deserved to win the title of Premiers. Lots of teams suffered injuries throughout the season, but so did we and at one time had almost our entire defense out of play. Still they managed to dig deep, get through and win the matches they had to while playing good open and attacking football. What is not deserving about a team that manage to perform and get the results.

Of course they worked hard and won games and didnt complain like jose MOANinho! They didnt win anything else because they didnt deserve to but they won the premiership because they pulled out all the stops when they had to.

They had a combination of things going there way they did play well, and certainly had the luck with them this season.
By the time the Man U vs Chelsea game was played at Stamford Bridge it was a waste of time, had the game been played earlier and Chelsea won it, things would have been different, because of the PILE up in fixtures the FA basically handed Man U the title on a platter. so poetic justice in that Chelsea BEAT Man U in the FA Cup.
Chelsea lost the title when reading player steve Hunt did the thug hatchet job on Petr Cech, one just knew after that Man U would have the upper hand. I would like to have seen how Man U would have done with their 3rd choice goal keeper for several weeks.
Having said that at the end of the day the did deserve to win all things taken into account, and thats from a Chelsea fan since 1965 !

Yep. Pre-order the season DVD and you'll be able to see again. and again....and again. We deserved it because we got the points and outplayed a supposedly superior Chelsea squad all season, and not only that but we did it in style!proving all our doubters wrong who said we'd be lucky to get 4th :) Mourinho can say what he likes about Chelsea's injury list but we had our entire first choice back four out at one point! The whole squad played a part, it truly was a team effort!

Yes, they were the only team that could match Chelsea when everybody else thought that it was Liverpool and they showed them wrong. They took the advantage that John Terry was injured and couldn't feature and won games in that time.

Yup. No doubt. They absolutely did. They played just splendidly.
Even though they had so many injuries specially their defenders, they still fought back n won the title which they deserved all season long.
