if you listen on BBC & SKY they don't shut up about him! i know he has had a great career and was good at Celtic but 3 goals in 12 games? its hardly prolific. and as far as i have seen him play he has been "OK" not amazing. but on match of the day you would think he had scored 12 in 12 or something! so what is SOOOOOOO good about him?

I dont think they are they just beat mexico but i belive they need to play some more team like england and france. The usa soccer team has alot of pressure becuase they are playing for the best sport country in the world. I belive come 2010 the states has a real chance of winning the world cup.

Many players claim they love their club , their heart is there, and they'll stay for the rest of their careers. Then contract and pay time comes up, and all of the sudden, all that love talk is history and they're disgruntled until they have their way.
Now, Lamps - Chelsea icon no doubt - reportedly wants more money, as much as Ballack and Sheva at least, otherwise he'll "buy" himself out of his contract. Dunno how true these report are, but... Is it just the media making it sound bad or do players all have their mouth where the money is? Should Chelsea fulfill his wishes (and perhaps make their supporters pay for it, ontop of their already astronomical ticket prices) or should they just let him walk? What do you think.

my son is doing a talk at school and he chose his football team he has to say who their best player was/is would you give your opinions please also positoin played and your reason why you feel they are the best?

He was going with Ally McCoist but I feel there have been better players i.e. Grieg,Baxter, Cooper,Durrant and a few more thanks for your help ............
