It looked like Chelsea had there reserves on the pitch and after hearing Mourinho"s interview after the game and his list of excuses, do you agree he should be called "moaninho" instead.... just as well we don't rely on just John Terry for the england team....

This is increasing their payroll which includes other players like Rooney Larsson and Ferdinand. They want to buy Hagreaves for 20million pounds Bale for 5 million pounds and even a Deportivo la Coruna midfielder all in the January transfer window and people still claim we can't match Chelsea don't this prove for themselves?

Surely the highlight of any managers career is to be remembered for winning major trophies or by bringing pride to your country. Surely to walk out on your country during a tight and succesful qualifying campaign to takeover a club in major turmoil with no immeadiate hope of success is disgraceful behaviour for one of the so called senior figures of Scottish football.

I think the guy who origionally whote this one had a bit too much to drink last night. What do you think?

Shocking rumours in London. After what has to be seen as one of the biggest power struggles at club level in recent years, in June, Mourinho will leave Chelsea, fed up with board interference. Contrary to popular belief, he will join Tottenham for three reasons: 1) He thinks they're THE potential team in the Premier League 2) Levy has already promised him a "carte blanche" in all club matters 3) He thinks it is a big challenge and wants to do a Porto with Tottenham. He will also bring SWP, Lassana Diarra (new Makelele) and Mikel with him in a serious transfer coup. Tottenham will finally make the step up to genuine title contenders under Mourinho. Btw, I have extreme confidence in my sources.

For me it was the important game for france vs Togo, france won that game 2-0 to qualify for the round of 16, but during thise last mintues that france was leading 2-0, the togo fans despite losing began to celebrate with the french and the rest of the football fans spectators as they danced, singing, man thata was what the world cup was about, a time to make friends.

I have always been intrigued as to why soccer is not called Football in America. I mean, basketball involves a basket and a ball, thus basketball. But American Football does not involve using your feet for the majority of the game. Tackleball would be a more descriptive name. It's just illogical.
