Football - December 2006

In the USA it is gettig popular, children are allready playing it (I know it is because of the soccer mums) but that is how it starts, kids are starting at it from a young age and some quit as they grow up prefering american football, baisball or bascketball; and the mayority of american fans ore from other countries bringing that love to soccer. any comments?

but don't all the teams have luck on their side sometimes? A phrase which comes to mind is: "The good player is always lucky."

But it's not really about luck at all. Now I realise that I am jealous of the Italian team and of Italians in general. I had become so heated about my anti-Italia attitude that I forgot what it is that makes the world cup so special. It is the coming together of diverse backgrounds to share the passionate pursuit of foot ball. And for this one thing I am grateful.

Sure, France could have won. Lots of things could have happened. But that is all in the past. What I have to do is look into the future and see how bright it is.

So, if you Italian fans could find a place in your heart to forgive me, I would appreciate that very much. I am a young man and I don't want to fall under touzour's influence.

I love Italy and their people!!! I love the world cup!!! and most of all, I love beautiful foot ball!!!

Imagine a club that will lose to Man Utd and even Aston Villa in the Premiership...Well for chelski,its over as they have money now to buy players........

are players that could not make it playing in the amateur league here in England. They apparantly did not have what it takes in the very competitive english arena and that is why Scottish clubs dont play their english counterparts.
And also the contributors on this forum could not even make it playing foory in Scotland

I am a Celtic fan and I love my team, but I think we should all respect each other for who we are as people.
