THEY will be still in a relegation battle, yesterday was false preformance, from a bunch of players who still need a good boot up the backside for under-achieveing for pardew. curbishley has a talent, but don't get romantic about this he has a very tough job to turn things around.

Only early day's....It's always like that when a new manager arrives.
Every player gives 30% extra to impress the new manager,
Just got a cold feeling, it's too late for West ham.
And poor curbishy....will he save west ham?
Won't be surpriesed if he gets the boot after the season ends.

As a West Ham fan I'll give you my answer after mid february, until then I'll sit on the fence. This is because new signing should have settled in and the players still there should have settled under Curbishley. Then we'll see the rsults we get.

I think it's still early to say as to whether he will be successful or not as he's not even there for a week (training) yet...But when looking at his record at Charlton I have to say that he is a good Manager and will do something interesting as he is will be well supported finacially in order to stengthen his squad according to his choice.

As a Man U fan I agree it was a good win and as you say the feel good factor played apart. why oh why can't they play like that every week and then they would not be where there are. It was a lucky goal anyway. Green played a blinder of a game.
