Didier Drogba, the current best striker in the Premiership. yesterday's match winning goal was the best i've ever seen from him.

My opinion is, he is the striker in form now...Mourinho doesn't want to shuffle his strikeforce too much unless Sheva doesn't perform to his expectations! I would say Rooney and Saha not far behind which have taken MU to the top this season. But last night game was awful ..hats off to hammers...

I don't know about the best, he can have off days too where he doesn't do very much. He got a cracking goal yesterday to salvage a point for Chelsea in the dying seconds. Plus, when he quits football, he could become an Olympic diver, he's that good! He he.

yes Drogba is the best striker ... reasons :
i)scored a hattrick in EPL against Watford
ii) another hattrick in UCL against Levski..
iii) superb winning goal against Liverpool in EPL
iv)magnificient goal againts Barca to win the home game
v) another tremendous equalizer againts Barca in nou camp
vi) late winner against Newcastel
vii) last nite winner againts Everton

Drogba doesn't playact or dive ( Chelsea v Blackburn, he was fouled in the box yet he stayed on his toes and scored a goal) Besides he is a team player.. he made some assists and acts as a cheerleader wheneva he thinks the crowd is nt cheering enof...

Drogba is the best..

Drogba is a fine striker. If he would not dive and complain so much, he would be even better.

Some of those answers are really infuriating.

Blue Leader - ANSWER - "You would" - What sort of reply is that? The Questioner has got a Spurs badge on his logo and is praising a Chelsea player.

Robbief19999 - ANSWER - "He got a cracking goal yesterday to salvage a point for Chelsea in the dying seconds." -No, he got a late goal to get an extra 2 points on top of the single point they would have got for a draw.

Chelsea Is The Best - ANSWER - "What a hit" - ?? Hit? No footy supporter says hit in that context.

My answer...

Yes, he probably is, but I still want to punch him.

He might be on top form right now but what will happen when he gets injured...............goals are not coming from everywhere with chelski and sheva is not doing well. Hmmmmmm maybe they should play Carvalho up front and this is where i think united does have the upper hand on chelski........koz we will have larsson, ole, smith and rossi if saha or rooney gets injured.
