Do I recall a question this past week re WVU being in need of respect and having an offense as the best in the country? Perhaps my memory is fading.

I read something in sports illustrated about the Patriots' spying, i forget the exact words, but it said something to the effect of "And many coaches and players agree this happens all the time.." and the article goes on to basically say that this happens fairly often but someone had basically told on the Patriots... is this true? How common in the NFL is their method of spying or spying altogether?

Jeez, what a bunch of whiney babies. Wah! They're cheating!

Sounds to me like good strategy. Learn what kind of signals the other teams use for communication and adapt to it. If you are going to whine about someone learning from your signals, fine the people using them.

I am a little confused on what some people are trying to say about a good QB. What is the deciding factor for QB elite status: Super Bowl appearances, Super Bowl victories, or QB stats and records?? I see people discrediting Brady, Manning, and Roethlisberger alot. However, these guys have all been to and won Super Bowls. Now I think that doesnt make a QB elite since u need a complete team to win. I know Brady and Manning put up good stats, but Roethlisberger doesnt really get the opportunity and when he does, he made a lot of mistakes. But that occured after an injury proned offseason and regular season. And people want to add that he had a good defense and running game. But didnt the pre- Roethlisberger era have the same philosophy with the same or similar players in it, but for some reason they win it when Roethlisberger is starter! I would like to hear everyones opinion. BTW, I am a steelers fan but I try to be unbiased as possible.

I have been working on a real brain teaser here. If you started a new NFL expansion team, what 3 players would you choose. The only thing is that these 3 players have to be on a 2007 NFL roster, active, and they cannot be probowlers from the last 3 years (2004-06). Pretty difficult puzzle? Let me hear from you.

I've heard explanations, reiterations of the memo, and excerpts from the rule, but I want to read the entire rule, the way it is written in the rule book. I've heard it read aloud once, but I've not been able to find it online, and I am hoping someone here can help me.

Give me your best guess of how many fans will collect money from Billy and the cheaters?

And - do you think anyone will sue the NFL for the other tapes that the Cheatriots used to win? Maybe many more lawsuits? maybe the NFL knew this would happen - that is why the fine was so small?
