Nope, he runs and thinks east-west. To succeed in NFL, you gotta be a north-south runner.

who says you cant run east to west in the NFL, Barry Sanders did it all the time, Brian Westbrook plays a finess game too. Do I believe Reggie Bush will be as good in college as in the NFL, maybe. But you never know, he might need time to adjust to the game. No i am not a Reggie Bush fan and I believe USC the school are filled with a bunch of tools.

He will when he gets good co-players as with his college teammates. Every great runner acknowledges hits blockers. He is right now one of the top receivers in the NFL. Being a good receiver is important and also what he does after he catches the ball.

N.O. is paying for last year. Most everyone forgets, or never knew, that the schedule is skewed against you after you have a good season.

Reggie is paying the price of being from the West, there is a tendency to downplay the West and denigrate the players. He is also is the victim here of being winner from USC, it comes with winning a lot. Jealousy is still with us.

A good example is OklaFatso below, he forgets the Orange Bowl BCS game a couple of years back. Or perhaps his way of getting revenge, call the PAC 10 a BS league.

Reggie Bush can be just as effective in the NFL as he was in college. The man has not even played in 20 professional games yet, and people are already to write him off. He will be fine.

I think Reggie Bush was overrated coming in as a runnig back. He is more of a Devin Hester type player who can return punts, kickoffs and sometimes give you an explosive play in space. I think he will have some success but because of the exagerated expectations, everyone will see it as a dissapointment.

initially, your question has flaws in that "superb out of school" does no longer have any connection to overall performance interior the NFL. Ryan Leaf all people? (2d superb actual) there is been various busts 2d, there is not any rule pointing out that it could no longer take time for a astonishing college participant to get adjusted to the NFL it additionally would not help the adult males basically 200lbs @ 5'eleven. he's everyday for velocity an agility, yet he would desire to stand to income 10 or 20 lbs (look at LT and Alexander, they are rapid and strong).

Nope. He can't play that style in today's NFL. He may be as good if he becomes a skill player at RB, and not sure yet if he can, and we will say he is as good a RB as he was an athlete. He won't be as good as an athlete though.
