Do I recall a question this past week re WVU being in need of respect and having an offense as the best in the country? Perhaps my memory is fading.

They suck. Their season is over. Slaton will go to NFL. That's the end of the program. Don't be surprised if the coach leaves. He only signed a 1 year contract and tried to go to Alabama last year.

You are right WVU is overrated in collegiate system, since they don't get the best recruits, but still they can beat an SEC team 2 yrs back, wasn't Georgia one of the best? Anyways yea college isn't even close to compared to the NFL. The school with all the prestige gets all the talent. People believe that college players have more heart and that makes it better than the Pros.

Yea i am sorry that a good college team is all about getting the best recruits and are prob. only good because of that talent. But even the great schools lose to mediocre talent. But I guess you are right, when those small schools do beat out the juggernauts of 5-star rivals kids, it does show they have more heart.

But it is funny when big time schools do lose because their fans are in disbelief and call it a fluke and cry to their mommas.

That offense sure looks great against lousy defenses, doesn't it? But once WVU actually goes up against a defense with some speed, suddenly they fall apart. Personally, I think my Cal Bears have the best offense in the country, and we'll see if they deserve respect after the Oregon game starting in 10 minutes.

The Brokeback Mountaineers Got rocked last night 6 TO's is all because of the bulls D. I was one of the 67,018 in attendance amd it was pandemonium. This win will jumpstart the USF program to A BCS bowl win this year as for WVU they might play in the holiday bowl or the kissin cousins bowl or something.

the big east is overated. the problem with the mountaineers is that they rely on their offense way too much. if something goes wrong, like last night slaton got injured they ended up being screwed because of that. it was the same case with louisville. their defense sucks. whenever their offense didn't do well or they faced a team with an offense as good as theirs(Kentucky) they lost. South Florida looks more balanced than either of west virginia and louisville. hey , who knows rutgers could end up winning the bigeast this year their rated.

Yeah in my opinion a good offense is a balanced one that doesn't turn the ball over so many times

All the ranked Big East teams are overrated, Proof: look at Louisville as well...
