He got a good chance to be a good NFL QB, he got size, at 6'4 and 230 lbs and a big arm. But this is just his Jr. year and he said he's coming back for his Sr. year next year. But his stats this year is 17 TD's and 1 INT's wow, great future in front of him.

Running the spread in college, depending who you talk to, can be good or bad.

Its a system that no teams use all the time, so the QB has to have some evidence that they can produce outside of it.

But it is also a system, according to some, that develops the closest thing to NFL passing tech/decision making.

I've never read anything stellar about Painter, and I am a boiler, but he has show significant growth over this season. As of now, ESPN's 08 draft coverage doesn't even have him listed, so I don't know.
