So Willingham was fired after his 3rd season when Notre Dame struggled...He was 10-3 year 1/5-7 year 2 and 6-5 his 3rd and final year (21-15 overall not bad)...now that the irish are going to maybe win 2-3 games this season shouldn't Weis be removed after seasons end the same way they did Willingham? Once again people want to overlook the race issuse and say don't play the race card but what do you make of this situation? It's a joke!!!

This is not even close. USC has a glorious history.

I respect LSU Tigers as a football team but I think their fans need to quit running their mouths and learn to appreciate top notch football.

I can definitely appreicate SEC football and I respect that conference. Why can't their fans show some respect?

Hate it or love it I know that everybody will root for their hometown teams regardless of what the haters say. But even enemies can show some admiration for each other.

Who thinks mcnabb is one of the worst QB's in the NFL. Not the worst but one of them despite all the good stuff they say about him. He throws it to the other teams defenders for god sake. he has 1-2 good passes a game and they give him credit for them. Remember last game againest green bay first drive INT. A Green Bay defender was not covering anyone and he throws it to him. no interception but close. When he is under pressure he doesn't throw it away most of the time. Watch how horrible he does againest the redskins monday u'll se what I mean.

I'm curious what the big edge is with a video camera on the sidelines. How is it different then just looking at the oppossing team and writing down signals? Obviously on the video you can look at it closer...but again can't you pretty much do the same thing by just watching and seeing the movements? I dont follow football all that much so I'm used to baseball where people constintly try to get a peek at signals and sometimes do so players/coach's have to change signals

who do you think would win if the college team Florida (the champions) played the worst team of the NFL, say like the raiders or cardinals. i mean the raiders and cardinals suck alot but there still in a whole different league than Florida is. in my opinion the worst nfl team would win simply because they are playing on a whloe different level. but what do you think?

stuck with watching the dreadful Seahawks is there any way that this could be changed so I can watch the 49ers instead? I can't stand the patetic announcers that they have for the Seahawks and the Seahawks suck anyways.

I know that he struggled with ND in his last two seasons, but I still believe that he was let go a bit premature. I think it happens way too often that a coach who is trying to build up a program is let go to quickly or isn't allowed to turn it around after he built it up (like David Cutcliff at Ole Miss).

The "punishment" meted out by Commissioner Goodell doesn't hurt the Patriots. Instead of spending money on unproven draft picks they can now use the money to spend on sought after free agents.

If anything, it's the draftees who get hurt. There will be one less player drafted in either the 1st, 2nd or 3rd round.
