Michigan will prevail in this match up of the 0-2 teams. The Wolverines have too many offensive players not to win in this game, they got the QB Chad Henne, but injured in this game, so the Freshmen Ryan Mallett will take his place. The running back Mike Harts is a Heisman candidate and he will have a good game against the weak Irish defense and WR Mario Manningham is one of the best WR in the BIG 10 if not the country, he too will have a big games against the weak Irish defense. Plus Notre Dame have nobody offensively that will scare the Wolverines, i mean common the Irish QB Jimmy Clausen is a Freshmen, his Quarterbacking ability is still limited. So for this reason i expect the Wolverines to come out on top and win their first game of the season at the expense of the Irish.

My money is on Notre Dame to be 0-3. Michigan may have a slow, extremely untalented defense and a surprisingly inconsistent offense, but Notre Dame looks completely lost on both sides of the ball. Michigan at least has a running game with Mike Hart.

Michigan will be pumped up by the NFL alumni lining them up into the locker room at 1:45 and will come out and dominate a weak Notre Dame team. The coaches will unleash Mallett on a suspect secondary and run all over a weak front seven.
Michigan defense will contain the short pass game and the front four will start maintaining their lanes well to stop the run.

Notre Dame will be 0-3. They don't have the horses that Michigan does & Notre Dame has been overrated for years. They weren't really that good last year.

Michigan will come sout of the game as the winner. They are playing at home which is a advantage, and Notre Dame just doesn't have the offense to beat the Wolverines.

I'm an ND fan and they were not supposed to be good this year. Michigan while overrated (obviously), can't possibly be SO overrated that they can't beat a really bad Notre Dame team (or can they?). I'll say Michigan will win because of their athletes, but I wouldn't put laying another egg past them.
Go Irish!

Michigan will lose for the third straight game as their team morale is really low. Notre Dame by 1 point.

this is a toss up b/c the big house hasn't been friendly to Michigan this year but i think that Notre Dame's lack of offense and shaky QB play will cost them the game. Henne & Hart will get going and i wouldnt be surprised to see a lop sided Michigan win.

michigan will win but it will be an ugly boring game. and michigan is going to become a second tier team if they do not fire lloyd carr i am a michigan fan and if it meant that lloyd would get fired at the end of the year it would not bother me if michigan lost all thier remaining games. the only downside is the kids have worked very hard and they should not suffer because of his incompetence
