The Bears beat the Seahawks eariler this year when the Seahawks were favored to win, and when they didn't it was "Oh well if Shaun Alexander wasn't hurt" and now he wasn't and the Bears beat them again and now it's because the Seahawks wasn't a good team to begin with. What are you going to say when the Bears beat the Saints? "It was too cold in Chicago?" "The Saints weren't really that good of a team?" "Drew Brees, Reggie Bush, and Deuce MacAllister all had bad games?" What's gonna be the excuse to avoid admitting that the Bears are a great football team?

How can the Patriots be called unsportsmanlike considering the # of personal fouls committed by SD? A head butt...and dancing in center of field after a super close win???? hmmm.

That between Tom Brady, Payton Manning, Jeff Garcia, and Rex Grossman, Rex would throw the least interceptions (and that the one he would throw wouldn't be his fault?)

Ok, San Diego tried to tie the game with a field goal and missed but then New England got a 15 yard penalty for unsportsman like contuct, with 3 seconds to go, why didn't San Diego try for another field goal instead of taking a knee??? Are you not allowed to try for a field goal on first down or is it because the ball has to go through the uprights before the clock hits zero? Can someone please explain why I think San Diego threw that game by not trying for another field goal.

they lose to the Saints?
Since its predetermined with the NFL that the Saint will win and get there chance to play in the superbowl.
OR will they just go postal and start jumping off buildings?

When will "BIG AL" stop coaching from the booth and let the coaches coach? Will they trade down in the draft? Will Moss and Porter be traded?

If you are a fan of the nfl you know L.A., Cal want a football team but if LA get a team it would make the AFC/NFC uneven so if you could make a NFL team what would call them and what city would you put them in

The cousins from University of Florida Reche Caldwell and Jabbr Gaffney (formerly with Texans). Jabbar and Reche engineered that entire game for Brady playing the two both as a running back and a wide-out. They were the best at Florida when they won the Orange Bowl. Brady was put into a position to do what he does every playoff--- creep for first downs and the winning field goal, he did it against Steelers in 2005 ,but it didn't work against the Steelers in 2006 -- but he didn't have that SEC speed.. What was Marty thinking about, how many time have he seen Brady do this --thr only thinbg different Patriots introduced that SEDC Speed into the equation and two peopke who have played together all through HS and know each other better than anyone to get him into position -- never wanted a TD he wanted a FG all along.

Do you think the San Diego Chargers will have a difficult time returning their Super Bowl tickets/reservations? I wouldn't want insult to be added to injury, seeing how badly injured they were by Bellichick's masterful annihilation!

Nice catch, Reche! Lets ALL dance on the Charger 50 yard line, Merryman style BOO YAH!!

PATS!!!

Remember after 9/11? The Patriots kept winning. The country was patriotic. The attacks brought us together, and for some reason, they brought the Patriots together, too.

almost 2 years after Katrina, the Saints, of all teams, are the NFC championship game. How many people think this is a sign? The city of New Orleans, brought together in jubliation, because of a super bowl trip, OR victory? If the NFL is fixed, like many people believe, my gut instinct is that the powers that be will get the Saints into the big dance.

watch! I think the Patriots look like the best team right now, but the Saints could win it all. WHY? Because of the extreme underdog scenario i just pointed out.

I'm going out on a limb, here. BUT I predict the Patriots will again, for the what, 4th time in 6 years, win the super bowl. I had a feeling they would knock the chargers out. They are playing TOO good right now. Either the Bears or the Saints would lose to them. This, of course, after they again, put the Colts out of the big dance.

I don't really even LIKE the Patriots, but i just am going with my gut instinct.

I'm disappointed that they aren't going to win the Super Bowl, but after the way things went last season, I don't feel like I did when they lost to the Pats.

I didn't like how the defense played all year, but Andy let Morningwheg call plays, Donte and Jeff were great additions, and they discovered a running game.

I'm wearing my colors until the end of the season.

i say yes he wouldn't even shake the jets coach's hand after the jets beat the pats which shows he's a sore loser and wouldn't call vinateri back after vinateri wanted to stay at new england and then shows up the chargers on their home field like that i think he's trying to be the nfl's version of the miami hurricanes i hope vinateri kicks a game winning field goal to beat the pats if brady wasn't on the team i would hate the pats and if brady wasn't on the team billichick would've been fired with the same result like at clevland

I mean they won 4 playoffs games by just a Field goal. They won 2 super bowls by a combined 6 points. In oakland cause of the tuck rule they get another shot. Today against San diego Brady threw 4 interceptions but the uy fumbles the last one and they recover then score to win again. The last dynasty was the Cowboys of the 90's and they were blowing people out. The patriots just seem to get all the right bounces u know!!
