so the patriots are sore winners because they were doing the dance that Merriman does to taunt the the opposing team?...so the patriots... a team that doesnt do these stupid endzone dances and doesnt run their mouths before every game...yes they are the classless team...maybe if Merriman would have spent less time on his dance and more time practicing he might have got more than 2 tackles yesterday...or i mean he could have just forgot to shoot up on roids before the game and didnt do as well for that reason...

And Tomlinson...well buddy maybe if your teammates didnt run their mouths and make up these stupid dances it wouldnt be so easy to rub it in your faces at the end of the game...and then go and say it was Belichick's fault they are sore winners...the guy who doesnt say anything to play into the pregame taunting and then just comes out and outplays you...yep his fault...Sorry Tomlinson you just got beat by a team that doesnt come out and set individual records...they are a team that comes out and wins...better luck next year...

PS: congrats on breaking the single season TD record...maybe you can think about how great you are while you watch the Superbowl from your house....

No, LT was just another victim of the "Marty Schottenheimer Curse. " The Chargers were by far the most talented and deserving team of this season. They worked really hard, they played exceptionally well. In fact if they actually HAD won the SB, which is what most experts predicted, they would have been remembered as one of the best SB teams in history.

Poor old LT was the "poster boy" for the Chargers,he broke all the RB records and helped to lead the team to a 14-2 record. (The Chargers could easily have been 16-0 this year).

The Chargers this season were SO dominant that it is doubtful if there is an active coach in the League that could have lost that game yesterday. A monkey probably could have coached such a superior SD team to an easy win over a predictable, depleted, worn-out Patriots team.

Unfortunately, instead of a monkey, the Chargers are coached by Marty Schottenheimer, the worst playoff coach in the history of the NFL! SIX straight "one and out" playoff performances and one of the worst playoff records in NFL history.

If you want to blame somebody for making great players crazy, blame the same guy who makes great players LOSE, season after season after season after season.........

Well since class isn't a Strong suit for the Patriots or their fans, let's put this into perspective.

The Patriots have no class, they continue to prove it on a weekly basis, some weeks more than others. Dancing the way an opponent does on their logo at the center of their field is a perfect example of poor sportsmanship. You can't throw a flag, as the game is over, but heavy fines for the Un-Patriots that did the insulting and boorish routine.

Just remember that no team that has lost to the NY Jets has ever won a Super Bowl. That streak will continue this year. Indy will win next week and will win it all.

No, mocking a set which you in basic terms beat isn't the way the sport is performed, era. L.T. become top to be disillusioned and could be congratulated for sticking up for a teammate and all of San Diego. Stomping on our field and mocking our gamers is unacceptable, and the two Belicheck and the Patriots followers must be embarrassed by applying what their gamers have completed. It become bush league by applying the Pats, straight forward and straightforward. talk trash in the process the sport, superb, have fun your TD's, superb, yet while the sport's over you prepare admire on your combatants. A lesson for the Patriots, and each and all the Pats followers on right here rubbing it in. You gained an excellent game the day gone by, congratulations, do no longer destroy it with stupidity.

Yeah, it was pretty pitiful. But lets cut him some slack, these guys live and breathe football for 9 or 10 months out of the year, and to lose like that is pretty heartbreaking. Not to mention that it is disrespectful to do the "lights out" dance in the middle of the field. We can't forget how we ripped into T.O. when he stood on the star, during the game. So i can understand what he was feeling. All that said, you blow up on the field in the heat of the moment, thats fine, but at a press conference, what he did, unacceptable. He should be fined, and I lost some respect for him too.

No. He was not a sore loser. He was upset that the Patriots chose to deliberately celebrate by dancing on the Chargers logo in front of their home crowd. The Patriots showed no class there.

OK granted but doenst the dancing and showing off make for bad winners?

I can understand most think the way they do, but as old school fans who watched football since their childhood in the 70's , many things have changed
winners didn't taunt and tease flags were thrown for un sportsmen like conduct, this I want a be a thug thing or I'm entitled to my 15 minutes of fame wasn't tolerated
even bling bling wasn't allowed to be worn
their talent and the final score was enough to let every one know they won , they don't have to cheapen it

Everybody knows that LT is a class act, so before everybody starts to criticize him lets remember what happened. The guy had an MVP season....his team had the best record in the NFL...and he lost a B.S. game to a B.S. team. I'm sure he was just furious about giving up a 21-13 lead in a game his team had no reason to lose.

Lets put it this way he aint a good loser but if your going to be the best being a good loser is not advisable. He will probably wake up Monday morning and wish he hadn't said some of the things.

I noticed he didn't mention his defensive team mate head-butting that Patriot player after the Chargers had knocked Brady for a big loss.
Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.
