Once an N.F.L. team has its playoff position locked up,they either one, start the second stringers in the next game or two, have the first string play the first quarter only and no matter the outcome, play the second and third team the rest of the way.I never see this in football.Or is there too much money involved in terms of seeing the best players in action.

Please dont everybody say the undefeated dolphins team, because they while being a very good team, also had the assistance of the 3rd easiest strength of schedule in NFL history, so try putting a littile thought into that

I am a great bengals fan but has Palmer been playing the best this season? Ever since he recovered from the accident has he improved one bit? I mean, he was alright, but would this be improvement? Also will the bengals have a chance to get to the superbowl by this 1 game that is coming up?

If you couldn't guess which team I was rooting for Sunday, I was rooting for the Seahawks. As much as that loss hurt, I have to admit the Seahawks did better than anybody thought they would, and it was a very exciting game. I am still a little in shock that Boulware let that guy get by him for the game winning TD though. Oh well... NFC West champs!

Here we go i am from Europe and soccer is the sport i been playing since i took first steps probably, anyways i seen the stats for a lot of these punters in College Football and they all average about 35 40 yards which is i believe pretty weak, now i went out and tried punting with my friend on the football field and can easily punt the ball 55 yards with 3.9 hanging time, i am starting college in september this coming year and will try out for USF football, does anyone know what kind a training is good for this position anything specific or just kick until you get tired :)

I am a Saints fan, so I am probably a little biased. However, I just want to know what the rest of you think.

Just remember this. Coach Payton took a team coming off a miserable season (3-13), in a town that had learned the meaning of the word "misery" (Katrina), and turned them into possible Superbowl contenders.

If not Coach Payton, then who and why?
