I am a great bengals fan but has Palmer been playing the best this season? Ever since he recovered from the accident has he improved one bit? I mean, he was alright, but would this be improvement? Also will the bengals have a chance to get to the superbowl by this 1 game that is coming up?

He has been playing really good, but I think he could still get better!

However, I don't think the Bengals will make the superbowl this year. Next week, the Jets will beat the Raiders and the Bengals will not make the playoffs.

the bengals were just eliminated from the playoffs after the jets beat the dolphins tonight. I also would like to point out that this year Palmer had something no other team had, 3 amazing wide recivers. u cant give him all the credit.

I don't think you can put too much of the blame on him. He has shown flashes of brilliance this season, and the ability to put the ball right on the money, but his accuracy is not as consistent as it used to be. Some of this could be the result of his season ending injury last year, but I doubt it. I tend to believe it has more to do with timing issues between Palmer and the 3 main WRs. They don't always seem to be on the same page, and often blow an opportunity for 6 by mere inches (either in an overthrow or a late curl).

Ultimately, these issues can be worked out with time, practice and experience. The team has had as many off field distractions as any team I can recall in 25 years of watching NFL. Discipline may be the best cure of them all for this teams hopes next year.

i think of if Chad Johnson can carry onto the ball for a transformation, and stop on the subject of himself with all of the dramatic antics as quickly as he makes a capture, sure they'd have an excellent gamble at prevailing in basic terms a sport - no longer in basic terms a playoff sport. greater importantly, the Bengals choose for a protection. Their protecting unit desires a entire overhaul with the intention to be aggressive with the different communities interior the AFC North. If Marv Lewis may additionally get the different team contributors on the comparable web site (and not have his team slapping him around) then consistent with danger then can win a sport.

Palmer definitely could've started better. I don't see the Bengals getting in the playoffs. It's probably going to be the Jets and the Broncos getting in.

I think by his skills he is the most underated quaterback in the NFL. He just needs more skilled WR's to throw to. Chad johnson is not enough. He has got all of the mechanics to make a great quaterback, but his lack of weapons on the offensive side of the ball is REALLY hurting him. I say trade chad, and get some reliable veterans in their to make things happen, people that have been proven in the NFL battlefield. In my opinion, chad is all mouth, he has skills, but doesnt learn or work well with others.
