I tune in to watch Navy beat Boston College, and a WOMAN is doing the play by play, and her color commentator is clearly DRUNK. What the crap is going on here?

I'm not a big sports fan, but I've noticed during sports highlights sometimes the snap or a field goal attemp is off to one side or the other. Is this due to wind so that when the ball is thrown/kicked it'll remain in play or are some teams doing this to "throw off" the opposing team's defense? Wouldn't a non-center snap/kick result in one team or another having the advantage of not needing to place runners/tacklers along that side of the field?

Doug Fluties last game of his career was playing second string quarterback for the New England Patriots. Tom Brady was taken out and he was put in because the Patriots had a significant lead. Doug Flutie asked his coach if he could do a trick play and his coach allowed him to. From the quarterback position he was hiked the ball, he dropped it, and off of one bounce he kicked it through the field goal post. Does anybody know the name of that play, how many points it was worth, and why he was allowed to do that?

Ohio is is talented but a little bit to much attention. If Reggie and Matt were still @ USC then this would be different. They would own Ohio St. just like Texas....er i mean Vince Young did. Texas is nothing w/out Vince Young. they lost to kansas state.....KANSAS STATE!!!!!!!! i do like Selvin Young though, he is good. The 2 Florida schools in the ACC are just horrible. Wisconsin has plenty of depth except @ QB. John Stocco is to injury-prone.

I know that Ohio St. will win the Title but i would predict that Percy Harvin to have a breakout game. The Ohio state secondary is just horrible, they couldn't stay w/ Adrian Arrington, Steve Breaston, and Mario Manningham. I thought that, that was they key to Michigan to win. I mean Arrington is 6'4 and Breaston, and Manningham are speed demons.

why is it that amearicans have a diffrent name for every sport and have their own crap sports that no one else likes. they also copy other soprts and just change the name and the rules.and call them names that they should not call them. for example they copied rugby and said that gave it the name football. in actulity it should be " hand ball" CRAP AMEARICAN SPORTS.

The NFL playoffs are about to begin. The Giants, Packers, Falcons, Panthers, and Rams are all tied at 7-8. What if they all won their games. That would put all of them at 8-8, so how would they figure out who gets that wild card spot???
