Their were many good quarterbacks including Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Vince Young (Because he can win games and is the Titans X-Factor), John Kitna, and Jeff Garcia. So...here is my rank:

1. Drew Brees = Leads NFL in passing yards and TDs

2. Peyton Manning = Simply the best

3. Tom Brady = Has made many extraordinary plays this year

4. John Kitna = Threw many interceptions but should remain their starter

5. Chad Pennington = Showing signs of his former self

6. Donovan McNaab = Good until he got injured

7. Vince Young = He can win games

8. Jeff Garcia = The Eagles savior

Biggest Disappointment:

Eli Manning (Thank god the Chargers avoided drafting him, they might have had to repeat the nightmare of Ryan Leaf!)

This year? I'd say Drew Brees (in terms of stats & wins)

Kitna is a good guy and he certainly puts up a lot of fantasy points, but his team has 2 wins. Its hard to say the best QB has only produced 2 wins. (If so, he'd be the best along with Andrew Walter and Aaron Brooks.)

You have to look at it like this, where would the team be without that quarterback. Drew Bledsoe left Dallas in the undesirable state of being 4 - 4, and it looked as if Bill Parcells was going to retire after the season. With the help of Tony Romo, Dallas's hopes for the Super Bowl were rejuvenated. Now if you see some of the plays he has made, like the high snap that rolls to the one, which he very calmly picks up and blasts to Witten for 6 yards when it was going to be a safety or maybe even a touchdown, that shows his poise. So I will say Tony Romo for the simple fact that he has carried his team by making big plays at crucial times.

This Year? It has to be Drew Brees because he made so much players good. But long-term I would pick Tom Brady for his Influence and Leadership and his winning additude. I would rather have a Super Bowl(Brady) then a MVP Award(Brees).

not a Saints fan but hands down Drew Brees. he has well over 4000 yards this year and is leading a team to the playoffs that last year wouldnt of even dreamt of the playoffs

and whoever said Rex Grossman....I feel bad for you
the rest of you guys dont get mad at him....its denial

THIS YEAR people and most got it right with Brees. To the one claiming it is Peyton easy arguement against him. The team was BUILT AROUND HIM. So shitty D because he is supposed to be the gunslinger and outscore the opponents. Where are the points this year?
