i mean if they are the only other D1. team undeafeated...why not?
You can't go and tell them they cant play b/c that means that not only rutgers but anyother small D1 school will never be able to get a deacent football team or player...who want to play for a team who will never make it to a national championship?

Thoughts?

does anyone think that the packers could actually make the playoffs? i know im a fan, so naturally im biased but i look at the rest of their schedule so i could maybe see them going 9-7 with a little luck. they play new england, seattle, minnesota, san fran, the jets, chicago, and detroit the rest of the way

I'm sure the jumpshots when they score a point, make a tackle, move 2 inches, ect. was brought on by that "Ballin'" song! Now...it's cool when Strahan does it because he's actually a hall of fame player. But when some no name guy does it, it's just lame! I love how the Bears threw it in their face after the 108 yard return. Who else thinks they should stop that lame *** celebration?

Knight Incident Overshadows Victory
Texas Tech Coach Has History of Similar Behavior
AP Sports
LUBBOCK, Texas (Nov. 14) - As Bob Knight moved one win closer to catching Dean Smith, his temper flared once again, when he used his hand to push a player's chin during a timeout, as if to make him look the coach in the eye.

With more than 4 minutes to go in Texas Tech's 86-74 victory over Gardner-Webb on Monday night, Red Raiders forward Michael Prince was called for a foul. During the ensuing timeout, Knight approached Prince, and as the player lowered his head, the coach made contact with his chin.

Knight gave a brief statement at the postgame news conference then answered one question before exiting the room. The incident with Prince was never addressed.

It was win No. 871 for Knight, who is five away from passing Adolph Rupp for second place on the all-time list. He needs nine more victories to surpass Smith for the most wins in Division I history.

The BCS Is A Bunch Of BS If You Ask Me. Boise State Is Still Undefeated At 10-0 But Still Somehow Manage To Be Outside The Top 10 Rankings. Go Figure.

Aikman Opens Door For Possible Comeback

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (Nov. 14, 2006) -- Troy Aikman said today that he is "fifty-fifty" about whether or not he will end his retirement and play next season.

The former Dallas Cowboys quarterback called a report about a possible comeback "only speculation."

ESPN.com recently found out that Aikman told ESPN's Ron Jaworski that he would be interested in returning to the NFL next season but only if he could work with Joe Gibbs in Washington.

"I have said all along it's not something I have closed the door on," Aikman said. "If the right situation presented itself with the right offensive system, one that I believed in -- and Joe's is one I believe in -- then I would certainly consider it."

Aikman won three Super Bowl titles with the Cowboys. Only Joe Montana and Terry Bradshaw have won as many. His 90 wins in the 1990s are the most by any quarterback in any decade. He also won his first seven playoff games and 10 of his first 11.
