does anyone think that the packers could actually make the playoffs? i know im a fan, so naturally im biased but i look at the rest of their schedule so i could maybe see them going 9-7 with a little luck. they play new england, seattle, minnesota, san fran, the jets, chicago, and detroit the rest of the way

As far fetched as it may sound....it is indeed possible...just unlikely is all. Their next 2 games are against the Pats and the Seahawks. If they manage to win one of those...the schedule get's a bit easier the rest of the way. Games against the Vikes, Niners, Jets, and Lions are all winnable games. The final game against the Bears is a game in which the Bears could be sitting a majority of their starters if they have home field advantage wrapped up.

So yeah....9-7 is not as far fetched as some people may think. But....with such a young team...it may be hard for the Packers to put together a solid stretch over the final 7 games. A slip up against one of the teams that they have a chance at beating...is probably likely (as we saw against Buffalo 2 weeks ago).

IMO...the packers are still a year away from being a serious playoff contender (and then only if Favre returns for another season).

50-50 threat, Giants are going to fall to redskins the fee their playing suited now, Packers are going to get beat via the Bears protection Favre is in threat of throwing Interceptions, Bears will capitalize on Favre errors in Judgment, the terrific team suited now to dethrone the Giants from the 6th Playoff Spot is the Rams, their playing the Vikings, Carolina's playing the Saints, Atlanta is playing the Eagles. With that project the Rams will make the Playoffs, undesirable thought in the journey that your Opponent in the final week is a team it particularly is already in the Playoffs.

HA! HA! HA! You're joking, right. They would not need a little luck, they'd need a LOT OF LUCK. Perhaps if there was a sympathy team allowed into the playoffs they would have a shot. You have a better chance of winning the lottery than the Packers have of being in the playoffs. Thanks for the good laugh.

what are they now? 4-5 right?

ok lets see

Loss vs NE
Win vs SEA
Win vs MIN
Win vs SF
Loss vs NYJ
Loss vs CHI
Win vs DET

obviously they could have some upsets

and maybe win vs the jets or bears

but from those 7 games

they'll go 4-3

so maybe 8-8

with luck 10-6

so they will make it to the playoffs probably, but its not like they are going n e where

lol sorry

They can't be counted out yet, but their play has been too inconsistent. My guess would be no, they will probably end up no more than 8-8.
