Not this year. May be next year if you are lucky. If I remember, Jason Campbell has one great year as a senior at Auburn. He was an all American as a high school-er. It took him four years to become good college Quarterback. (Redshirt freshman and 1-3 years.) Great Athlete with strong arms. It will take time before Campbell can be a good NFL QB.

he was good with Auburn, but that was a run-focused offense. should be interesting to see what he can do. he's been watching from the sidelines for two years..

seems like a desperation move to put him in now. but if he's the QB of the future, might as well get him in there.. all rookies take a while to learn the ropes, but he could be a big star in a year or two.

i imagine Shanahan will look on Campbell as a mission. so that they'll save him. not like the previous head coach, he may have some fulfillment. they ought to focusing on plugging holes contained in the O-line, giving London Fletcher some help, and cutting ties with their resident moron Clinton Portis.

He has potential, it all depends on the team coming together and playing as a unit. One man does not a team make.
