Yes, he's the first rookie to throw 2 TD in his first two starts. And yes, he has the rookie record for most passing yards in a game (405). But in the league, stats don't mean much. He's shown signs where he looks like he's been playing for years and then there are the rookie pains.

so now that USC is a solid #2 in the BCS, how many college football fans are screaming that USC is overrated?

5 straight 300 yard passing games!!! I love it!!

I have been a Saints fan for a long time and this is the first time since I have been a fan that we actually have a real QB......and I love it!!

I'm sure he wont beat out P. Manning or LT for the league MVP, but he sure deserves to be talked about......and he sure deserves a possible Comeback Player of the Year.

I'm from Germany, so pardon me for that naive question - but my American friends couldn't tell me as well. How come QB's are having these black paint underneath their eyes? Is it for the vision or is it just for a gooph, looking cool? I can only imagine that with the black color, light from the beams is not being reflected from the skin to the eyes?! Or is it for the WR to know who the heck has the ball in case anybody has to take off?
